Letting the Lord be my Motivation

When we love the Lord more, we are more willing to give up bad habits and take up more responsibilities for Him. Before the camp I was struggling with the burden of increasing responsibilities and expectations. I felt unworthy and insufficient of being an example for other youth. Through messages and personal conversations, the Lord spoke to me through encouragement from brothers and sisters. One brother reminded me that I should focus on the Lord rather than others' expectations. I realized whatever pressured me were accusations that I had entertained. It should be the Lord who motivates and guides me to do more and lead others. I knew that I wanted to love the Lord more. I made the decision to trust in what He wants for me rather than abiding by what others or I want to see. I give thanks that I can rely on the Lord and Him only for guidance and my standards.
