Overcoming the Enemies’ Lies

One important skill I learned from the Philippines camp was to overcome my hesitations. Many many times during break bread and other worships I would have lots of prayers I want to voice out but I felt like something was holding me back. I felt the burden of failure and mistakes. I wasn’t sure nor confident weither my prayers were right or “advanced enough”. This trick from the enemies stopped me from praying many times and would cause me to enjoy less. I was scared this would be the rest of my life in the grasp of the thing holding me back. I’ve had enough, I won’t let the enemies win again so I went to an older brother and asked him how to overcome.
Through his sharing I learned how to embrace the truth that brothers and sisters enjoy my prayers. This helped me to have more confidence and less worries. The first time I truly embraced it was during the first break bread. I felt like a door opened, breaking free from my chains. Even after the camp I felt less hesitant to voice out so I can enjoy even more.
