Learning to Live in His Presence Daily

People say all good things come to an end; however, what I’ve experienced in Vancouver will stay with me and be remembered in eternity!
Prior to the trip, I had many questions about whether God was truly loving or interested in my life. This hindered me from truly and freely coming before Him in worship and enjoying His love.
However, through many worships and living daily with God, it helped me see God is always before me and very affectionate towards me. Every morning, I would go outside to enjoy some alone time with Him. Longer periods of time to let God come close to me and speak to me nourished my heart and put me at peace through His great love and presence. Along with that alone time, worships with brothers and sisters helped me enter deeper into God's heart. God's love can really affect and touch our hearts. This reminded me of His love and made me focus on Him.
Though we can always experience God, I felt that in this trip we had to condition our lives to be in a state to be ready for God to speak to us. Our early nights and early mornings helped us to be energized for the morning worships (especially 7am phone sing). Many breaks to walk leisurely with God after meals or time to remember God's presence in the car made living with Him very sweet. I felt His closeness many times throughout the day and felt revived in my spirit.
Though the trip is over, it doesn’t mean the goodness or the essence is. Every day, I want to enjoy God's closeness to me and purposefully set myself up to enjoy and experience Him every day. Whether it be my schedule or decisions, it’s all because I just want to be close to God, always.
