Having Fun and Pursuing God

During this Vancouver trip, I gained so much. At first, I thought this trip would just be all meetings. I didn’t feel like going to Vancouver because I didn’t want to pursue, worship, and have trainings the entire day. It seemed really boring and draining. I felt like staying home and being bored would be way better than this trip. But in reality, this trip didn’t have many meetings and the purpose of this trip is actually how to live a good daily life with God.
On the first few days of the trip, I felt so tired of joining 7 am phone sing, personal time, and worship team times twice a day. Every day, I felt like I didn't want to do anything because I was so tired. But what strengthened me to keep pursuing God was my desire to experience Him deeply. With this mindset, I was able to overcome my feelings so that I could continue to pursue and draw near to God. Every morning after the first 3 days, I chose to have personal time with God longer and keep Him in my heart throughout the morning. And this helped me to set the foundation so that I could enjoy all the worships. I remember how focused and how much I deeply experienced God. In one meeting, I remember feeling touched praying about the Blood of the Lamb and how each suffering that the Lord went through was to show how much He loves us.
And each day we would have something to do. For example, summer day camp, self-arranged time, hiking, home visits, etc. From this trip, I feel like I learned how to keep God in my heart and how to involve Him in everything I do. In order to have a good spirit, you need to pursue but also have fun. In Vancouver, we kept a good schedule every day, and I want to also have a good schedule back home.
