God Is the Center of My Life

This camp reminded me how sweet living close to God is. The daily schedule we built allowed me to see how my life could improve coming back to SV. Before, I was laid-back in my mind, especially in my scheduling and worship. I liked to go with the flow and do things when I felt like it. However, the camp reminded me of how abundant my life could be when I fully followed God and set Him as the center.
We had phone sing, personal time, team time, and worship with Will in the morning. Later on, we took walks throughout our day and sometimes we had meetings during the evening. Having a solid foundation, especially in the morning, made everything easier and lighter.
The pursuit in the morning with Will also further ignited my heart and desire for God. It helped me to enter deeper into the truths and experience what true deep worship is like. In the first deeper worship we had, I felt it was so easy to say what was in my heart. It changed a concept in my mind as well. Before, it was hard for me to use my heart while I listened to brothers and sisters prayers. However, in the worship, I could feel the sincerity of the brothers and sisters in their prayers and I felt their hearts for God. It made me realize how I can use my heart as well and I didn’t want the worship to end.
Then, later on, Will also explained to us more about the Blood of the Lamb and how the Lord poured out His all for us. Seeing it clearer made me want to understand the Lord more and draw even closer to Him. I want to keep these experiences and remember every time we worship. I want to continue to have this strong desire and let God guide me throughout my life. I want to set God as the center, write Him in every line and chapter of my life. Living with God is truly the best.
